Try these cheese taco shells made from cheese and shaped into a taco; these are a great low-carb and keto option. Are you looking for Keto approved, and delicious? These cheese keto taco shells are the perfect mix.


INGREDIENTS


Taco seasoning:

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper


Tacos:

  • 1 pound. lean ground beef

  • 2 c shredded cheddar

  • 1 onion, chopped (6 oz)

  • 1/4 c tomato paste

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic


INSTRUCTIONS


  • Mix together the taco seasoning ingredients into a small bowl and then set off to the side.

  • If you do not have a tool for shaping the taco shells, let's get creative...

  • Place 1/2 c shredded cheddar on a piece of parchment paper. Spread into a 6-inch circles.... keep them then. Microwave on high until browned and crisp, about 2 minutes. I would keep a watch after a minute to ensure it's to your liking. Microwave temps may vary.

  • Only allow the shell to cool momentarily. Once you can bear the heat go ahead and remove it off the parchment paper, and fold it over the item you choose to create the fold.

  • Continue to repeat this until all the cheese is used up.

  • Heat the ground beef and onion over medium high heat in a skillet for three minutes. After cooking and stirring the meat you can add in the taco seasoning, tomato paste, and the garlic. Continue to cook until meat is cooked through, 2-3 more minutes.

  • After cooking is done.... go ahead and dish up the meal and enjoy!

  • Add any additional topping you love on your tacos :)
